Dr. Lottie Beebe
BESE District 3 Representative


Dr. Lottie P. Beebe is superintendent-elect of the St. Martin Parish School System. She received her doctoral degree in educational leadership from the University of Louisiana-Lafayette and Southeastern University Consortium. She is an educator within the St. Martin Parish School District and has served in various roles during her 28 years in education. She has served as a regular and special education teacher, assistant principal, principal, personnel supervisor, and director of human resources. She also taught for 6.5 years in St. Landry Parish prior to her election as a school board member. She served for eight years as a District 5 board member in St. Landry prior to her appointment as an assistant principal at Cecilia High School in St. Martin Parish. Upon fulfilling two four-year terms as a St. Landry Parish School Board member, Dr. Beebe decided she would not seek a third term. She then focused on her administrative responsibilities while pursuing additional certifications and degrees. She is a member of the Louisiana Association of School Executives. Dr. Beebe was recently honored as a recipient of the President's Award from the Louisiana Association of Educators. Dr. Beebe currently resides within Breaux Bridge in St. Martin Parish.
