Live Streaming

Below are links to upcoming live streams of BESE meetings. As a convenience, links to other BESE or LDE advisory councils, commissions, or task forces which may be streamed are also listed.

Please be advised of the following ongoing COVID-19-related procedures that are in place for BESE meetings:

  • Claiborne Building management requires all visitors entering the facility to have their temperatures checked at the main southern entrance. Visitors must have a temperature less than 100.4° to proceed past the checkpoint, and a verification sticker will be provided confirming clearance.
  • Claiborne Building management requires face coverings upon entry and in all common areas of the building. Once an individual has entered a meeting room, to the extent possible, this requirement will be monitored by BESE staff and referred to Claiborne Building Security for noncompliance and enforcement determinations/decisions. Upon any noncompliance determinations, to the extent possible, Building Security will enforce and implement any necessary next steps.
  • Social distancing practices will be observed, to include seating spacing in the Louisiana Purchase Room. BESE staff will monitor attendance in the meeting room, not to exceed 50 percent of capacity. In an effort to adhere to spacing and capacity limitations, it is possible that attendees may not be permitted to remain seated in the room for the entirety of meetings. In this instance and to the extent possible, Claiborne Building Security will determine noncompliance and enforcement decisions, as well as implement/enforce any necessary next steps in relation to noncompliance.
  • Individuals wishing to provide public comment related to an agenda item are encouraged to complete comment cards prior to the start of the corresponding meeting. BESE staff will collect individual contact information in addition to completed comment cards. In the event that the person wishing to comment is not present in the meeting room, the meeting can be monitored by individuals via live streaming video. BESE staff will attempt to provide individual notification when the specific item is being considered.
